First established in 1968, Oakridge is located in South Calgary, bordered by communities Palliser (E), and Cedarbrae (S). Oakridge is bound by 90th Ave SW to the north, 24th St SW to the east, Southland Drive SW to the south, and the Tsuut'ina first nation reserve to the west.
Oakridge is run by the Oakridge Community Association which hosts and facilitates various events and ammenities throughout the community.
