Looking for some creative Valentines Day dates that you can partake in with the current restrictions? We've complied a list of activities that are still available - whether you prefer to stay cozy inside, or go out for the day!
Going Out:
In the Heart of the Night (Calgary Zoo, 18+)
Hosted by the Calgary Zoo, In the Heart of the Night will be held (in a safe and physically distanced way) at the ENMAX Conservatory. Tickets are sold in advace for $110-$120 (+GST) per person and include a four-course dinner, an "adults-only" presentation, and admission to the ZOOLights exhibit before and/or after dinner. Available dates include February 12th, 13th, & 14th.
Banff Gondola
Take a trip up to Banff for the day and visit the Banff Gondola - a perfect date for couples, or book the Family Experiance and bring the kids! Prices vary depending on dates, but usually range within $29-$45 per adult, or $56 per adult for the Family Experiance (kids ride free!).
Outdoor Skating:
Olympic Plaza
Free-to-use outdoor skating rink in the heart of Calgary. The Olypmic Plaza is open from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. daily. Public bathrooms are available and skate rentals are provided on site through Skate Hut.
Bowness Park
Enjoy free outdoor skating on the lagoon in the eastern portion of the park, as well as ice skating pathways and Skibike rentals available. Open daily from 5 a.m. - 11 p.m. until mid-March.
North Glenmore Park
A free and fun destination for Calgarians. Skate over 730 metres of connected track, through North Glenmore park, with an attached skating rink located in the centre. Open 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily.

Take a look at the current exhibits at the Glenbow Museum from the comfort of your own home. Along with the permenant exhibits, Glenbow will be exhibiting Mapping Worlds by Shuvinai Ashoona during Valentine's Day, and more exhibits will be coming to the Glenbow beginning February 22nd!
